This didn't start in a startup pitch deck.
It started in 1994, in a quiet temple town, when a young devotee of Lord Karthikeya named Murugan sat across from his very first client and offered his first reading. He didn't know it then, but that moment would define the next three decades of his life.
Over the years, Murugan worked through thousands of real consultations — the kind where clients are sitting right across from you, with real problems, real stakes. By 2014, he'd helped found a local astrological association, bringing structure and peer learning to a practice that had long remained scattered and informal.
What he kept seeing was a gap. Astrology — one of humanity's oldest systems of understanding — had no modern infrastructure to validate its insights, standardise its methods, or scale its reach. That bothered him.
In 2024, a team of builders, designers, and digital strategists came together under his leadership to do something genuinely new. Astrogya launched in 2026. Powered by AI. Grounded in decades of human practice. Unlike anything else in this space.
